Commercial firm taking on more public-sector jobs

THIBODAUX, La. — At 44, David Duplantis has spent more than a decade building up the Thibodaux-based Duplantis Design Group, the company he founded in 1997.

Offering client services including civil engineering, architecture, and both design and construction administrative services for existing structures as well as new construction, the Duplantis Design Group has grown economically and geographically to include offices in Mandeville, La., and Houston.
