About Us

The Daily Journal of Commerce has served the construction industry as a major news source since 1922. The DJC collects construction data on hundreds of projects in New Orleans, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Project information is updated daily and published by 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Use the links on the blue column to the left to break down more detail for each section. Specifically we have the following data available:

• New Projects. New projects out for bid for the current business day.
• Bid Calendar Construction project data by region and date until bids are opened.
• Bids Opened. Projects we have collected bid opening results for the current business day.
• Contract Awards. Projects with recently awarded contracts.
