Crews wrapping up frontage road work
SHERMAN, Miss. — Construction of the frontage road for the Toyota plant, from State Highway 9 to County Road 203 in Pontotoc and Union counties, is nearly 80 percent complete, according to the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
Hill Bros. Construction Co. Inc. of Falkner, Miss., was awarded the contract on the $28.9 million project.
The Highway 9 widening is nearing completion, and frontage road paving should begin this month.
The project is slated for completion in August.
