Mississippi overlay work nearing completion
WALTHALL COUNTY, Miss. — An overlay project on U.S. Highway 98 in Walthall County is about 81 percent complete, according to the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
The project began at the Pike County line and extends six miles to the east. Work began in April and is being funded by federal stimulus money. Dickerson and Bowen Inc. of Pickens, Miss., is the contractor.
