Mississippi DOT lets 10 stimulus projects
NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI — The Mississippi Department of Transportation has let 10 overlay projects in northeast Mississippi funded by federal stimulus money. Major projects include:
• U.S. Highway 45 Alternate from nine miles north of the Noxubee County line to the Clay County line.
• U.S. Highway 82 from near Military Road to the Alabama state line.
• State Road 15 from Houston, Miss., to the Pontotoc County line.
• U.S. Highway 45 Alternate between State Route 8 and the northernmost Chickasaw County line.
• U.S. Highway 45 from West Point, Miss., to north of State Route 25.
• U.S. Highway 72 from the Tippah County line to Corinth, Miss.
• U.S. Highway 45 from New Wren, Miss., to the Lee County line.
• State Route 365 from the Prentiss County line to U.S. Highway 72.
